Mechanics of Fat Loss

Just a random thought really… It’s a paradox that bodybuilders talk about melting fat off - where heat is absorbed to cause a melt, when the actual fat loss transformation is the other way around - where heat from fat cells is expelled to the external environment…

To be fair, the whole lexicon of health and fitness needs to be termed in a way that folks can understand it. I have no issue with that. It reminds me of Tyson Fury’s uncle and former trainer who, when talking about Fury’s weight loss between fights in the earlier days, said he routinely ‘boiled him down’ from 25 stone to 20 stone. I love that term.

I suppose “burning it up (or off)” is a bit more accurate.
