Meat in the fridge

I usually take my individually wrapped meat (chicken, fish or beef) from the freezer and thaw it in the fridge. Sometimes I don’t eat it for various reasons - lazy to cook, decide to eat something else, etc. How many days can I keep it in the fridge for it to be still safe to eat?

Once it is thawed,I like to use it right away. Generally 3-4 days is best, any more than that and the meat starts to get funky.

Until you see mold forming on the meat.
