ME - Single Sets Or Multiple Sets?

it has come to my attention that some ppl like to do multiple heavy sets on a ME workout instead of working up to a ME single set… most of the articles i’ve read say to work up to a ME single set with the other sets being warmups. But some ppl say that they feel they gain str better on multiple heavy sets…

What do you guys thing is a more effective STr gaining approach when using ME?
