Maybe the World Isn't Dead Yet...

I must confess to an oddly depressing habit, every day I periodically flip to cnn.com and check out their “Most Popular” stories list, and every day I am sorely dissapointed and wonder just how much longer this world of ours will survive. However, today at 7:39pm Mt Std Time, for the first time in over a year, the most popular stories DID NOT contain a single link to some bullshit celebrity tabloid nonsense! I couldn’t believe it…they still had some nonsense stories, but no LiLo or Paris or Britney or Brangelina or any of that shit. I was stunned and oddly a little bit hopeful…just maybe we might make it out of this lifetime alive.

This is of course, an event preceded by over 24 straight hours where the most popular story on cnn.com was that Lindsay Lohan had gone a week without a drink…what in gods name have we become that shit like this is the most pressing news that we feel we have to read???

Anybody else have the same strange habit?

Nice one tall guy! Flawless indeed.

Dammit! Officially back to being doomed…number one story on cnn.com is some crap about Miss USA being in trouble.

Maybe it’s time to build that shack in the wilderness…
