hiiii guys.i am a fitness professional 25years.i wanted to discuss about effects of Masturbation on health and bodybuilding.i wanted to known if makes a difference in your Strength,gains and over all health.some people say there will be less gains if you masturbation because most of your testosterone will be used in masturbating,on the other side some say there will be no effects on your gains,i really wanted to know does it effect your Strength,Gains.Recovery and over all health.i know some people might take it in a funny way:P but on a serious note wanted to know.it will be great if anybody genuinely knows about it.

I would even say that regular ejaculation even reduces the stress/relaxes you, which hinders the slight hormone effects completely.

wow. solid interpretation of how testosterone works. You’ve really done your research. What, exactly, do you think happens when you masturbate? Do you think that white stuff shooting out is a big wad of testosterone?

Whats the difference (on health and bodybuilding) between masturbating frequently and having sex frequently?

I’m just curious what happened to your keyboard. The shift key and spacebar don’t seem to work after you use a period. You should look into that before worrying about your testosterone.

On the contrary, temporary depletion of testosterone prior to the workout will lead to a substantial spike in said levels above the norm during the workout due to the body’s attempt to normalize hormonal levels. Do it on squat day and the research shows levels comparable to low doses of steroids, albeit for a short amount of time. However, as a natty, one would certainly want to utilize every tool at his disposal.

No. There is a critical 30 min. window that occurs 15 min. post work out wherein it is not only beneficial, but has been proven to increase protein synthesis by 47% for 48 hours.

I also used that one on a girlfriend once. Only works the first time.

I would disagree since Stock, Atiken, Waterman et al (2001) artificially induced the refractory period post workout through the rickroll process and found the results with regards to protein synthesis to be insignificant.

It happens to be a good source of protein
Very useful when you run out of protein powder…

If you drink it afterwards, you can replenish gains lost if you’re worried.

Whenever I eat soy protein products I rub one out immediately to get the bad testosterone out before it converts to estrogen.
