Hey guys, I had a question about metabolisable energy, and eating. I am really into nutrition and growth with my major at school, and I was wondering if the caloric needs that are figured with the massive eating plan are taking into account the amount of energy that we can absorb from the foods we consume. In other words should I assume that as long as I eat 3900 calories a day, with the proper macronutrient allocation that I should be fine, or should I adjust higher if I eat a high fiber diet, since this is mostly indegestible for us?
