What is the theoretical basis behind massive eating/don’t diet? I figured it probably had something to do with glycogen resynthesys.
The goal of massive eating is the acquisition of muscle mass with minimal fat gain. The diet accomplishes this by maximizing the various effects of insulin. Protein + Carb meals for insulin release at times when the body is more apt to use this insulin for muscle growth (morning and postworkout) and protein + fat meals to minimize insulin secretion during times when insulin sensitivity is lower.(evening meals)
