John, is there any rationale to eating a almost all protein meal during the Massive Eating Diet. I have lowered the calories to use it for fat loss and wondered if my before bed meal would be good as just protein powder without fat or carbs.
I would think that if you were dieting you would be trying to spare as much muscle as possible. So the pre bed meal might contain the protein as well as some good fats to slow the digestion of the protein powder so that it “lasts the night”. You could eat some real food like salmon or chicken to get a similar effect b/c of the slower absorption of real foods.
