This is what I was hoping for. Years of football, boxing, and physically demanding jobs left my shoulders pretty banged up. I am just trying to protect my joints for the long haul. I do DB presses and push up, to help balanching my chest out. Plus, I wouldnt use it for all sets, just heavy ones or when my shoulders feeled banged up.

Funny thing, Zydrunas’ farvorite assistance movement for OHP and log press is actually high incline press on a smith machine.

A fat bar or neutral grip bar can be a big help
