Don’t be so hard on the guy. He backed up Lienhart and Booty in at USC and then got thrown into the fire after Brady faked a leg injury. He still did well even though they didn’t make the playoffs.
I had a real estate law class with Matt Cassell at USC. He seemed to be a pleasant, agreeable, all around good guy. He was cool with everyone and actually showed up to class on a consistent basis - which is astonishing for an athlete, albeit 2nd string.
Also, physically, he was big as fuck.
