Man Eaten by Hogs at Oregon Farm

An Oregon man trying to feed his 700-pound hogs was eaten by the animals Thursday, and sheriff’s deputies are trying to determine what led up to his death.

Terry Garner, who lived near the rural town of Riverton in southern Oregon, went to feed the animals on his farm at 7:30 a.m.

When he wasn’t seen for several hours, a family member went to look for him, and found Garner’s dentures on the ground in front of the hog enclosure, which housed several of the animals.

While searching the hog enclosure, the family member found Garner’s body in several pieces, with a majority of it consumed by the hogs, the district attorney said.

Now deputies are investigating how Garner ended up in a position where the hogs were able to eat him.

District Attorney Paul Frasier said there are a number of possible scenarios, including one in which Garner suffered a heart attack. Another possible scenario is that given Garner’s age and health, the hogs were able to knock him down and kill him. Frasier said there have been reports that at least one of the hogs had been aggressive toward Garner in the past.

Because of the unusual circumstances surrounding Garner’s death, detectives haven’t ruled out foul play.

A forensic pathologist examined what little was left of Garner’s body over the weekend, but was not able to identify the cause or manner of death.

For now, Garner’s cause of death is listed as undetermined, and his remains will be further examined by a forensic anthropologist at the University of Oregon.

Dang, what a way to go.

I suspect fowl play. I heard the farmer had a falling out with the chickens a few days before.

Fuckin’ pigs!

Four legs good. Two legs bad.

Some animals are more equal than others.

(That’s all I remember from high school English, other than I wanted to bone this white girl with straight blond hair.)

That’s why we kill them and eat them. Drastically cuts down the instances of porcine-instigated hijinx such as this.

This made me think about what the fatty acid profile of farmer fed hogs. I suppose it depends on whether or not the farmer is grass fed.

You know what would be really cool, Rock? After these pigs shit this guy out, bash his next of kin in the frontal plate with a persimmon MacGregor Tommy Armour 945W 3-wood, drag them into the barn out back in the middle of the night, blindfold them with pig urine-soaked strips of burlap and then forcefeed them the pig shit containing their grandpappy’s remains. Take a few pictures and make Christmas cards out of them.

Hell, you could start a novelty business for seriously clinical misanthropes. Get a bunch of pigs, all just one generation removed from a pack of unscrupulous wild boars, and raise them all on homeless people and convicted child molesters. You could just advertise “human-fed pork” as the latest and greatest in new age nutrition and you’d already be guaranteed to attract half the nut cases at places like Crossfit and Planet Fitness.

Perhaps you get the worst of all the white-collar criminals, like Bernie Madoff and Donald Trump, and feed them to certain pigs and charge a real premium for restaurants in downtown Manhattan and then maybe pedophiles would be a little cheaper than that and the REAL cheap pork could be from pigs that were fed homeless people who also happened to be Rush fans or were found dead from a heroin overdose/ruptured cranial suture before they were even brought to your pig farm to be eaten in the first place.

You would probably have to distinguish in your price advertising between pork products from pigs fed living humans and those that were fed humans who were dead before you tossed 'em into the pig pen.

You could advertise over in PWI too. You’d be a hit over there. You could sell Wall Street CEO-fed pork to FightinIrish and Registered Voters From California-fed pork to everyone else.

That character didn’t freak me out like he should have because of his resemblance to Fire Marshal Bill.

I thought of that Canadian (Robert Pickton) who killed 54 prostitutes and fed them to his pigs for years until he got caught. He had a huge outfit.

Apparently, anyone who ate school lunches in Canada probably ate whore-fed pigs.

I think I learned about him in this forum.
