Making Eggshell Calcium?

I do not eat dairy due to digestion issues and fear that I do not get enough calcium has anyone ground up eggshells?

if your a male and you eat lots of veggies (green leafy kind) then your probably alright

I thought about that until I realized that the stuff I am taking for fiber is packed with plenty of Calcium. Chia seeds are ridiculously awesome, all the carbs are fiber and there's a good mix of fat and protein as well. I spread em all over my salads and I actually drank a bunch once in a glass of water but I wouldn't really recommend that. The bastards will get stuck in your teeth though...
