This is a newer Magnesium chelate that purports to be the only one that crosses the blood brain barrier. It was developed at MIT and has had one very promising human trial as well as several animal trials. Lots of people are using it to augment their regular magnesium supplementation (glycinate, etc) as it has brain-specific actions no other chelate has. Some reported benefits include reduced anxiety, clearer thinking, reduction in amyloid plaque formation (Alzheimer’s) and increase in BDNF. Several TBI/post concussion doctors have their patients on it. Has anyone tried it, and if so, how were the results?
