MAG-10/Myostat for beginners?

Although I have been working out off and on (mostly off) for several years, I still consider myself a beginner. We all know that when someone begins a serious training and nutrition program, there is an initial growth spurt. Would MAG-10 and/or myostat help accelerate the spurt or make it bigger than it would otherwise be? Or should they be reserved for when my training is more advanced?


I am also like you start lifting hardcore after 5 years of here and there lifting. In 5 weeks on Mag 10 i put on nearly 20 pounds. My hardest part s eating 3500-4000 calories. I just started Myostat today so it is to early to tell.
