Mag 10 for Army fitness training

I am 2 26 year old mail and I am in the Army. I cam currently in Iraq and I have go to train for a physical fitness test for a “special” school I want to get into. I have pruchased a bottle og mag 10 and I am ready to start my intensive training program. Do I need to be going for bulk to get the benefits of mag 10, or will it help my strength and muscular endurance of a 2 week program of muscle failure, burn out sessions?
