M ingredients

I received the free M yesterday and did 10 minutes of research on the ingredients. Here are my simple, nonscientific findings:
Vitex agnus-castus Extract (400 mg)-- Been discussed in depth on the board and in T-Mag.
Calcium D-glucarate (250 mg)-- Attaches to estrogen and allows your liver to remove it from your system.
Tocotrienols (50 mg)-- Found to be effective in the treatment of breast cancer. Estrogen promotes has breast cancer cell growth, thus the jump to being an anti-estrogen is easy.
3, 5, 4’-trihydroxystilbene (10 mg)-- Mimics estrogen and binds to the estrogen receptor.

Can the “experts” clarify and expand?

Thanks for posting this.

Calcium-D-glucarate does not bind to estrogen. It blocks the enzyme Beta glucuronidase that are made by the bacteria in the gut.
Our liver produces glucuronic acid which is required to metabolize compounds including estrogen. Estrogen, when it comes to the liver, got glucuronidated (adding a glucuronate group to estrogen, thus allowing elimination) by glucuronic acid.

Beta glucuronidase destroys the chemical bond that are formed on the glucuronidated estrogen which will allow estrogen to be reabsorbed in the intestine.

Calcium-d-glucarate acts to block the beta glucuronidase enzyme, thus preventing the reabsorption of estrogen in the intestine --> this leads to overall increase in net elimination.
