M and Tribex 500 effects on hair -- A question for all, but especially Bill Roberts

Tribex 500 works by increasing the amount of free testosterone available. This added amount is then capable of being converted into DHT, so why isn’t a possible side effect noted as ‘hair loss?’

How would M affect hair?
It seems that estrogrens might play a role in hair growth in men as well as women, and that estrogen does compete with testosterone for binding with 5-alphareductase. I see that this is supposed to effect the ‘activation’ of bound estrogen, but I’m not quite sure what that is supposed to mean as it’s a hormone and not an enzyme and works by being bound. Thanks a lot. At the same time I’ve heard claims that removal of estrogen in men can actually improve the quality of hair. Any ideas?
