So one thing i noticed with almost 90%+ of the people who lift is that they fucking lie about their 1 RM. Now, most of the time, it’s an ego and pride thing, and i can certainly understand it to a point. But this one bastard gives me a ridiculous number that i just can’t fucking stand it. So i wanted to know what the t-nation users think about the following numbers. Now, this kid is currently 18 years old, about 5’7", 218 lbs at about 20% body fat. The 3 big lifting numbers he gave me were 515 bench press, 736 deadlift, and 730 squat. According to some information from the usapowerlifting website, i find those numbers very hard to believe…whether he juiced or not, i think the numbers are extremely inflated.
I’m not gonna say i never lied about my 1 RM, but from all the lifting and reading about lifting, i find those particular numbers very hard to believe.
