has anybody here ever tried lunges with ankle weights? i started thinking about them earlier but i have never tried them and dont know what they would be like compared to putting more weight on the bar. what are your thoughts?
I’d have to think that the only muscles truly affected by that addition would be the Psoas Major, Psoas minor, Iliacus, Rectus Abdominus and only very minor involvement at that.
Using dumbbells or a barbell or even a sandbag or weighted vest would work.
I suppose you could strap them to your wrists but what do they weigh, 3-5 lbs at the most?
