Hi guys,
not really sure if this is an injury as such but wasn’t sure where else to put it.
My coccyx has been sore lately for the past few days when i sit down and lean back and iv just now felt a hard lump on the left hand side of it. The lump feels pretty firm and sore to the touch, might have bruised the coccyx but i can’t think of an occasion when this would have happened.
just thought i’d ask if any of you have an idea as to what it might be?

depending on the pain it may be a pilonidal cyst. If you google this dont get grossed out cause the pics are f@cked. But yea its basically a cyst with puss in it that grows there. It can occur if you sit for long periods or even originate from an ingrown hair.
check it out and let me know what you think?
If it is you can burst it down the track or get some cream but you gotta keep that area real clean to stop it re-occuring.

went to the doctors and it is indeed a cyst. probably from an ingrown hair apparently, got a weeks course of antibiotics so it should clear right up
