Where exactly are your lumbar muscles located?
The lumbar is your back/spine.
I am not aware of any muscle that is specifically called the “lumbar” muscle, but I would assume that the term “lumbar” would be referring to muscles of the lumbar (lower back) region.
Simply? Your lower back.
The lumbar region is your lower back. The muscles down there are the erector spinae, which keep you upright.
Your lumbar muscles are actually referring to the muscles around the lumbar spine(lower back). These muscles include the Errector spinae muscle and the sacro-spinalis muscles. There are also smaller lumbar muscles deep within the lower lumbar spine that articulate the vertebra…I am a Chiropractor…I am well versed in these muscle groups…hope that helps…
Could you please make us aware one more time that you’re a chiropractor?
