Lower Rep Ranges with the Standard HIT Rep Cadence

I have a question about HIT done in the standard rep cadence: 3-4 seconds down and 3-4 seconds up, no super slow and no negative accentuated techniques.

The standard recommended rep range is 8-12 but I’m curious what do you think about implementing lower rep ranges for example 5-7? Is it safe to do and would you recommend doing some warm up sets before such low-rep set?

You are in the middle range, but it’s safe to do with no warm-up.
