I currently tweeked my lower back during deadlifts, and its wasn’t a major pull at all just doing 5x5 with 315. But the pull in my back felt much different from when i actually pulled it last year. I was wondering if this injury could be the result of muscular imbalances in my lower back, or because the lack of core/stabilizer work I do, although I have started to do a lot recently. Thanks
Could be, if it feels different then you probably injured a different structure in your back. Imbalances could play a role just like technique could as well.
