Did some Deads a couple of weeks ago Monday, and though I made a conscious effort to keep an inner arch, I daresay it straightened out a bit, after the workout my lower back felt like it was on fire, and despite post w/o stretches, since then my back has been stiff, only slowly improving.
It hurts a little bit when I get out of the car, or go away from my desk, I straighten up a bit and then it seems fine. None of this was the case before. I did some Squats last week which actually seemed to help...I know, doesn't make sense to me either, but for the time being I've dropped all Squat/DL work. I also think I need to get a firmer mattress, mine is LONG overdue for replacement.
What do you fellas think? Rest/anti-inflamms, or could it be something more serious?
