Low-Carb Snacks & Meals

Ok. I’m trying to start the T-Dawg 2.0 diet plan but I’ve always find too difficult to go into a low carb diet.
Difficult cause everything I finf to eat out there has carbs.
3 of my 6 meals has to be made out of home, cause I work and study.
So, the 3 meals I eat in home is easy to get out of carbs, but what about those 3 other?

Could you guys suggest me some examples of good meals with low carb I could make out of home? Mainly “snacks” cause I dont want to go 3 times a day to the restaurant.

Thanks.

Jerky, Pork Skins, Nuts, Metabolic Drive, Olives, Cucumbers & Pickles == 0 calories…Chicken, turkey bacon, etc…

I was going to say InStone Protein pudding as long as you don’t have an issue of eating soy protein…

along with the above hard boiled eggs, meats, and veggies.

any other suggestions? I would like “handy” things. Cause 2 of them will be during work and classes.

good time for a protein shake, or prepare the food the night before when you cook dinner.

get a small cooler make youre stuff and take it with you

The only problem is that handy things I could prepare to eat would be “turkey or tuna sanswich”. But these use bread =/

I don’t think I could cook some strips of bacon and eat them on the other day eheh

Maybe I could carry some cottage cheese and turkey and put them inside the cooler we have at work.
the problem would be the College Meal.

I’ve tried to drink my whey prottein there but it sucked ehehe the watter wasnt “cold” enough, so it didnt taste good. I used a shaker also.

Protein bars arent good cause they contain lots of carbs too.

Why not precooked PLAIN meat and veggies. I brought these to class all the time.

id do it in class as well. Tell them you have to eat its your diet they CANT really screw with that. Claim its medical if they give you grief.

Some carbs are needed just dont get onme LOADED with crap and use them earlier in the day. I used Metabolic Drive bars from time to time for such though out of personal preferance mainly went with a Shake and fruit or nuts or real food instead.

Just takes some planning and a lil work on your part. No one said its easy thats why so many people have probs gaining, Its work to eat a ton.

Hope that helps,
Phill

In Gourmet Nutrition from Berardi are a lot of recipes, like low-carb homemade protein bars… even one with no baking!

And I think there are in the recipe section a lot of great advices too.
Prepare the night before. What you can do also is make protein pancakes, easy to take with you. Or just whey with a healthy fat source

my mom is awesome she cooks like chicken breast, steak, or turkey breast. Cuts it up to the appropiate size and then food saves it.

it’s sweet cuz i can take the package out of the fridge for a day without fear of it going bad. Pop it open and chow down carnivore style.

I also like hardboiled eggs. You can carry those around at school with or without the shell and they’ll be fine whenever.

Making sugar-free pudding with 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive is one of my favorites when it comes to a low carb snack. There’s plenty of flavors in sugar-free pudding so you can definitely get some variety.

Some other low carb snacks I like:

vanilla Metabolic Drive with peanut butter

chicken breast with thai peanut sauce

breadless turkey meatballs(check out Berardi’s recipe)
