is this a good one?

Meal 1- Breakfast
3 whole Omega 3 eggs
Protein shake

Snack-
1/4 cup Almonds
Whey with water

Meal 2- Lunch
chicken breast
Veggies

Meal 3- PWO
1 cup milk
2 scoops whey

Meal 4-
1 can tuna
1 tlbs extra virgin oil

Meal 5- Dinner
2x lightly seasoned Chicken breast
veggies

Snack-
1 scoop Whey
2 tbls peanut butter

Meal 6- Before Bed
1 scoop whey

Total- 2285
Protein- 289
Carbs- 59
Fats- 96.5

No, it’s not good. Actually, it basically sucks:

  • Out of eight feeding opportunities, five rely on protein powder.

  • There is a serious lack of vegetables.

  • The pre-bed meal is whey, which is fast-absorbing.

  • Post-workout nutrition isn’t taken into account.

  • Fats are too low; they should be AT LEAST 40% if this is a low-carb cutting diet.

Finally, it’s impossible to know if the total calories and macros are even close to being appropriate for you without knowing anything about you (e.g. gender, age, LBM, activity levels, carb sensitivity…).

I suggest that you read some John Berardi articles on this site, starting with the “Seven Habits of Effective Nutritional Programs”. If you don’t have the patience for that, then just try a solid ready-made diet like the T-Dawg.
