Low Blood Sugar Training

I like to train hard and heavy first thing in the morning, at around 5 am, after an 8-hour fast. I’ve read that bigger growth hormone responses occur due to a fasted workout. In addition to this, I drink only light roast coffee for the chlorogenic acid content to keep my blood sugar as naturally low as possible.
I like hitting heavy compound movements at the beginning, then finishing up with isolation exercises for a pump in the smaller muscles.
I’ve decided recently to try blasting my body with carbs, toward the end of the sugar-deprived perhaps right before a high-rep set of biceps. Anyone try this type of carb cycling?
