Recently i found some old Iron Man mags from the early 80’s and i saw an intersting article on lemon juice. Although a lot of shit was prob in these mags, i was just wondering if there was anything modern on its use? The article states it can cleanse the body of toxins, reduce things such as acne, and perhaps most importantly, dissolves fat cells. Any thoughts?
That article sounds a bit hokey, but one thing that lemon juice is good for is lowering the glycemic index of a meal. Try a tbsp. of it on a salad or you can use red wine vinegar too as this does the same thing. It has been noted that this can lower the glycemic index by up to 30 percent. I’m kind of surprised this hasn’t been mentioned on here with all the low-glycemic buzz lately.
