Lost 7 Pounds This Week Eating Candy

adding a daily king size Snickers bar. I am also stronger and know most of it came from my waist. What the hell?

According to your listed stats you are like 6’2", 218, and 15% bf. That is really lean.

There is only 1 way in which you could have lost 7 lbs in 1 week. And that would have been through loss of body water.

Did you happen to go on a 10 mile hike and restrict carbohydrates? Lots of hikers eat snickers.

Otherwise i say you are full of shit.

I thought I was full of shit too when it happened or my scale was off. However, scale has been consistent day-to-day. Also, the scale at the gym recogonized the same loss. Then I thought maybe I forgot to take my creatine. That wasn’t it. Checked my diet and work-outs not that either.

The only thing I could come up with is that I heard you can lose fat when seasons transition from cooler to warmer. I usually don’t wear a coat so there is a signigicant change in temperature but 7 lbs is ridiculous.

7 lb. shit maybe? shrug

Might have been a 7lb shit. You can gain a lot of weight through out the day. Did you weigh yourself at the same time of day, or once at night at once in the morning?

The time of day was consistent both at home and the gym.

I posted this primarily thinking that maybe this effect could occur if my diet did not contain enough peanuts, caramel, chocolate or nouget prior to making the change. Maybe not enough carbs to help with muscle growth or something.

i’ve lost 2 lbs with a shit before, and going 3 times a day will add up.

let’s see if the weight stays off for a few days.

any other changes to your routine or eating?

I already checked if the weight would come off over a few days. The first day I weighed 215 my weight went back to 221 after three days and then came back to 215 and has stayed there for a few more days.

The only change I’ve made over the last few weeks is I’ve combined my leg and back day. This has resulted in putting deadlifts and squats on the same day while dropping a few lifts from both the leg day and the back day. I’ve probably done one more workout including squats and deads than had I been doing it the old way where each body part was on a separate day.

As far as changes to diet.

  1. Went from zero to one king size snickers each day.
  2. Have had about 6 snack size bags of doritos over the past two weeks.
  3. I’ve had about 8 meals where I sprinkled a serving of gluccomannan onto my pasta since the article “Nutrition Quest 4,” was posted describing gluccomannan.

(Don’t pay much attention to any of the numerical discrepancies between 7 lbs, 221 and 215, or whatever is in my profile. 222 is what I would consider my average morning weight to have been a few weeks ago and now my average morning weight is 215 and usually precisely that)

Different scales?

Are you some sort of Snickers salesman or something?

Had my snickers bar yesterday. Weighed in at ~216 this morning. No shits.

I really really really hope this turns out to be the new diet fad.

Hell yeah. A cup (or two) of milk, two scoops of choco protein, and one (or two) Snickers bars. Blend well with lots of ice. Enjoy.

You’re going to have to dice that Snickers first. I imagine trying to blend a whole one would end up like the time someone here tried to blend a whole MD bar.

That could potentially be a great weight gainer shake.

a 7lb shit would be epic

rofl

Thats like 2,8 couric

I’m quitting cold turkey. Although I weighed 214 this morning and I am weighing less tonight, it’s time to see if the weight loss continues without the candy. However, I am committing myself to doing 2 interval cardio training sessions a day for the next 2 weeks (one in the morning and one in the evening).
