Losing Your Wallet Sucks

I always go to the rec, scan my ID, and then put my wallet in the end of my gym bag. (I’m one of those routine type guys, who likes to do the same thing every day.)

Today, I got home and needed to pay for something online, and could not find my wallet. It was not in my gym bag where it usually is. My bag stays in my sight, so it was unlikely someone stole it.

I called the rec, and no one had seen anything.

In a panic, I drove up there. I checked the parking lot and front desk, nothing.

Finally as I went into the free weight room, I saw it sitting in the cubby hole where I put my bag. I don’t know how it came out, but it was the most relieving thing ever to find it.

I don’t keep much cash in my wallet (<$20) but drivers licenses here are a pain to get, and take almost two months.

Cliffs: Thought I lost wallet. Panicked. Found it at the gym.

it happened to me too. found it 2 weeks later, what I relief
Paid 10$ for another gym card…now you give me my money back O YEAH

I know how you feel, I’m the same way in terms of routine and such and sometimes if I decide to put my wallet in a different pocket I’ll go to get it and when it’s not there my heart stops for a second.

Yeah dude, it is a pretty shitty feeling if it does happen. One time I want up to Marquette to party after a rugby game. I was sleeping on the couch in the main room where most of the people were. My backpack was in-between two couches, and because I wasn’t wearing anything with pockets, I put my wallet under all my clothes/other shit in my backpack. Of course, next morning… wallet is there, money is not. 100 bucks gone. (I got this much money for the weekend before driving out).

wallet phone keys are three things I can’t function without… they are always on me regardless of where I am. I’ve never lost my wallet but I did misplace my keys which caused me to panic then get angry. After 20 minutes of searching I punched a wall and broke my hand lol… found my keys 3 min later

I have a pair of Lebron James athletic shorts. The pockets have zippers. Best fucking idea ever.

LOL, last week I flew home from CA to NY. I had a stopover in Minnesota, and while I was there, I got a sammich from Quiznos and I was feeling around my pockets for my boarding pass and couldn’t find it. My heart nearly stopped and I bursted out “Oh fuck!” fairly loud… I got a lot of dirty looks.

…it was in my backpack.

Those are those moments where you just don’t give a fuck about what people think. I would’ve done the same thing. I used to feel for my chain, phone, wallet, and PDA back in my sophomore year of high school all the time. This was like 6 years ago. Chain and PDA meant the most. Once, my PDA wasn’t there, but I realized when I was already on the train. I was freaking out. The thing cost like $500+ and I’d only had it for like 5 or 6 months.

A friend was nice enough to run back to school with me, but it was nowhere to be found. All of the doors were locked anyway. I felt hopeless and sorta sick, lol. I was so upset about it that I stayed home the next day, lmao. When I went back the next day, my other friend told me that he found it right after I left the class that I had lost it in, but he didn’t have my number, so he couldn’t contact me. It felt really good. He knew how much it cost, so I guess he was a good friend. I couldn’t stop thanking him. Glad you found your wallet.

my wallet was stolen from my schools locker room. never got any leads :frowning:
the worst part is when i got my allowance (i dont have a job right now) i was in a rush and put all the money in my wallet.

so i lost $60+ and my headphones + the adapter for my phone to the headphones.
no money & no music
i hate workin out w/o music, deadlifting to “Halo” etc sucks. I’m used to my Hatebreed

I hope that means you approve! I got these babies 3 years ago from the NBA store when I was in NYC. Good times, good times.

I know exactly how you feel. I misplaced my wallet a few months ago and I searched for it for ages. It was dark and I’d searched through my car several times before finding it in a shadow down the side of the seat. Such a relief

Lmao! I used to go in there every once in a blue. One time, this really old poser was messing around with these little kids showing them his dribbling moves acting like he was really great. Then without looking, he throws the ball to the side, but he threw it behind his back, and he nailed this little kid in the head like 15 feet away. The funny thing about it was that he didn’t even realize what he’d done, and he kept on doing his thing. I actually don’t think anyone noticed but my friend and I. Our mouths were agape.

haha, man New York is a weird place. We were there for my senior trip in HS. I think by far the strangest thing that happened was the night me and 4 friends decided to go to McDonald’s at like 11 at night, there were some weird people there…

I clearly remember waiting in line, and in front of me was this ghetto ass black woman with a baby carriage. Then all the sudden she turned around, looked at me and started rapping Lil Jon’s “Snap Yo fingers” really fucking loud and dancing to the song for like 2 minutes, and she kept eye contact the entire time. I was just like, What… The… Fuck…

I also love, how since I went to a Christian high school, our dumb fuck administration decided it was a great idea for us to go evangelize and “spread the word” to random homeless people at night. I’m really surprised no one got hurt. Some of those people got majorly pissed off. I refused to even do it, fucking stupid. We were supposed to hand out bottled water and one poor girl is talking about God with this older black guy and he tells her “Shut the fuck up and give me the godamn water!” haha, oh man.

Ok enough story time, sorry.

You have shorts that fit you from 3 years ago?

Time to start reevaluating your progress, dude…

Damn right, my waist has stayed the same size for the past 3 years. I’m sorry you can’t say the same! Fucker! haha

Man, I was living in Austin about 9 years ago and lost my wallet shortly after I turned 18. I was freaking out 'cause I had no idea how to do anything on my own and didn’t know how to go about getting a new DL, SS card, etc… Less than a week later my wallet came in the mail, with the $30 some-odd I had still in it. Just when you think people have no redeeming qualities someone does something that somewhat restores your faith in humanity.
