Morning weight: 268 (-0)

Yesterday I realized that 1RM TBDL trashes my system just as bad as regular deadlifts. Did a minor refeed to help recovery (same stuff as regular, just added a full scoop of plazma instead of half, a few graham crackers and milk, a cup of rice with dinner and a Coke Zero) and ended around 2000 cals and 160g net carbs. Felt insanely bloated last night but weight came back down nicely by this morning.

Hopefully this means that I’ll be able to hit my maintenance weeks and slowly build up calories for the first 3-4 days Without having huge jumps in scale weight

Another good workout. I really like these circuits so far. My knee and lower back are feeling way better now, but now my elbow is getting worse. For now high pulls and push press are out because explosive moves all really hurt, and pretty sure TBDL too. Pretty sure my elbow got hurt in the first place doing TBDL farmers carries, and my elbow starts acting up the day after I do PR a TBDL. Fortunately bench, military press, rows, and pull downs all feel fine.

Warm up: 20 minutes
Circuit: (5-3-1)
Bench: 245, 255 1st rep paused, 285 paused
Pulldown: 140x6, 160x4, 180x2
OHP : 145, 155, 175 PR
CS Row: 115x6, 135x4, 160x2

Had a set back back on 3/1. idk if the circuits + sprints jacked up my metabolism or what, but I was fucking starving. Over ate that day and woke up the next morning weighing 275 lol. So dropped the seven pounds (again) the last two days. I’m 9lbs down from when I started this psmf, time to buckle down and real knock the lbs off

Went really hard on these

I felt great goin in, but the weight felt really heavy today. Plus for some reason I was sucking wind from the very beginning of the workout even though my conditioning is getting way better. I guess I just jumped too far and didn’t have the energy reserves to handle it. Will be bumping back to last sessions weights. In the mean time I punished myself with conditioning.

sprints:220-240 strides/min
Cool down: 130

Today I doubled resistance from 5 to 10 and took my sprint pace from 220 to 270 and actual hit 310 in the last sprint. Legs are toast. Overall a great session today out of nowhere

Then walked 4.5 miles in an hour and a half

How do you keep from destroying the elliptical? I’ve been cruising at 170 strides and feel like the thing might come apart if I “sprint”.

I’ll take a picture of it when I can. It’s actually really stable. It’ll be a while cuz I work tomorrow then leave for a 4 day trip to New Orleans

I’m using a fancy new Precor and it still feels frail.
