I should read up on this mechanism. I thought people lost their cycle gains because the increase in T causes an upregulation in another receptor, maybe cortisol, and so when they go off and their system isn’t flooded with anabolic hormones the catabolic hormones have a field day as they can finally attach to something. Memory is fuzzy though.
