Long Term Adex

Are there any side effects or health risks from taking Arimidex too long or too much per week ?

Thanks

Arimidex/anastrozole is used to modulate E2 to achieve healthier levels and the only long term effect of that is improved quality of life. It you use too much and crash E2 levels, joints may ache, mild to severe mood problems can occur and libido goes down.

This low dose usage seems to be side effect free. And where you find side effects published, these are the secondary effects caused by very low estrogen when treating breast cancer. I am not aware of any direct side effects.

There are some that are over-responders [hyper-responders?] who need to take 1/4th of the expected dose. Very rarely, 1/8th.

One can argue that there are severe side effects of not reducing elevate E2 levels. There are the side effects of a doctor not managing E2 levels.

Every action to manage something has an effect or side effect and there are also consequences of doing nothing.

Too much…yes! You will know if you dose too much. Be especially careful if not on TRT because you do not have a large buffer of testosterone to help raise E2 in case you do go too low.

Long-term effects? Who really knows. Positive I guess if you started too high.
