Light Exercise for Rapid Recovery?-Good Or Bad?

I read somewhere on this site that circulation of the blood will remove lactic acid from sore muscles and one way to do this is to activate the muscles that are sore.

For example, my quads and hamstrings hurt like a paper clip and I was wondering what to do to stimulate blood flow.

A couple sets of squats? Running up some stairs? Maybe I should start walking as well(they really hurt:(

thanks

Seeing as the probably hurt like hell if you are posting asking about it. I would say, “walk”. That’ll get the blood flowing . Maybe some bodyweight squats and such. Go for a bike ride. Etc…

All these will help just keep the resistance low. You are not looking to add more damage but to speed recovery.

Hope this helps,
