Lifting for Endurance Sports

I did a quick search and found this article – pretty interesting.

i feel it is dangerous using top athletes as a guide.

who here would use ronnie colemans training as a basis for body building.

On top of that you must consider that the next top athlete usually has done something different then the one before. If you train like one the best you could be is one… if you change it up there is a possibility you could be better.

Unfortunately in the world of professional and elite athletes they are the least willing to try a whole new method of training. Its the newbies that have to try it… and yes for every 1 that becomes the next top athlete… thousands resort back to the drawing board. Much like CS, my body is my laboratory. I am willing to screw around with my tri career to find the next edge.

If my current plan doesnt work… I just keep tri-ing… sorry that was corny.
