I am wondering if anyone on these forums can explain the changes in your blood vessels from lifting and from aerobic exercise. I understand that weight lifting will increase bone mineral density, obviously muscle mass but what changes occur in your blood vessels?
My question is kind of open ended, I’m kind of looking for more information in general i guess. Do blood vessels become more thick? Do they become more elastic? Can your body create new blood vessels that did not exist before?
