Lifters in the 808

What’s u; looking for some training partners in the Oahu area. Anywhere on the island is fine. I’m preferably looking for people who gear up and can get together this winter. I’ll be home from school for a month nd don’t have anybody i feel comfortable shirting up with. I’ve only been in the shirt for about 8 weeks. Getting back into briefs and suit at the end of this cycle as my back is still healing up. Let me know if there’s anybody out there.

I went to High School with John. He’s a strong dude for his size. All the Bareng brothers are impressive athletes. Harcharger you did you go to Moanalua?

I know they have some guys a gold’s gym downtown that gear up. You’ll have to ask around but I remeber them meeeting up on the weekends.

thanks for all the info guys. i got in touch with john on his website. i met this one guy over the summer said that he used to train with anthony johnson at kapiolani. i’m looking for anybody at this point lol. a month at home with no mono and no gear is too long haha.

Elnino: No I grad Castle but know John through a mutual friend. Met him at the push/pull this past august. He’s invited me to train a few times but I’m always working(3 jobs, nights and weekends). Super cool guy though. I’ve been trying to get over with Al Fritz and Tony Harris at pearl harbor bloch arena. They are very helpful as well and very fkn strong. I train mostly at home and military gyms (in the Air Nat Guard). You guys know any other PL’rs in Hawaii? Seems to be a small crowd out here.

We should get the word out to any PL’ers in the area. I’m tired of training by myself at 24 and my high school and people looking at me weird when u pull out bands and even worse when i put on any gear. MThe strength coach at my school just tells me im cheating whenever i put on any type of gear. Shetty like that. It’d be good to have a solid group of PL guys in the same place.
