Lift Stats?

Well, I’ve had a great few days reading through many of the posts here: the injuries, the advice, the jokes, and the progress. I am curious about the PRs of the other members on this forum, hoping to use these as inspiration for my own training and, ultimately, my own lifts.

Age: 37

Weight: 95 kg

Height: 175cm

Gear: chuck taylors & belt

BENCH single 180kg (but due to shoulder ‘problem’ I am afraid to go higher than 160kg at the moment).

DEADLIFT SINGLE: 190kg

SQUAT: 180kg

I look forward to seeing other members’ stats: age/weight/height/lifts - for motivation & inspiration.

Patrick.

Just bumping this post as I am really curious about other lifters’ lifts. 117 views but no replies?

As we are oldies it depends if you want lifetime PR’s or current:
Lifetime (so far) PR’s
SQ 230kg in comp @ 125kg B.wt
BP 135kg in comp @ 125kg B.wt
DL 255kg in comp @ 125kg B.wt
Total 620kg in comp (same comp as above lifts) @ 125kg B.wt

Best recent SQ = 0 (disc problem)
Best recent DL = 0 (disc problem)
Best recent BP = 120kg @ 123kg B.wt (last month)
Best BB Row = 120 kg x 4sets of 5 reps (last month)

Competition Lifts;

Bench - 385 Raw, 485 Shirted
Sq - 510
Dead - 500

Nuthin impressive but they are my numbers…I have done better in the gym but those numbers are hard to verify unless you believe my gym rat partners, lol.

Age: 35
Wt: 202lb’s today, but compete at 198lb’s.

I am training for 3 competitions this year, and maybe a benefit meet towards fall also.

Bench: 370 shirted
Squat: 585 wraps, belt, and Centurion.
Dead: 475

Adding my 2 cents…
In my prime - mid 30’s @198
SQ - 617/belt, wraps, & titan dual quad custom suit; 600 at 181
BP - Inzer Blast shirt 410; Raw 375; Raw 360@181
DL - 633/belt & RDC Genesis suit; 600 @181

2007/2008
51+ @ 198
SQ - low 400’s
BP - low 300’s
DL - mid to high 500’s

Lifting 30+ years - early in my lifting I never had a significant injury; over the last 10 years I have had 4 PL-related injuries all requiring surgeries…GO FIGURE???
Good Luck in your quest for more & more PR’s!

52/235/6’2"

BP=405, fruit of the loom t-shirt
DL=505, generic white socks
SQ= 155!!! (yeah, that’s pounds,not kilos)

I’ve had lots of injuries but have never gotten one from lifting weights.

I’m 37 and 230 lbs right now.
Best raw bench was 485 last year but I haven’t maxed in a while. I don’t do many deadlifts because of my lower back, and I don’t try to max on squats but I can get 495lbs for 12 reps on squats.

You bench as much as you squat? That is not normal. Impressive bench, though.

me- 37 years old. 103 kgs (230 pounds or so)

Bench: 150 kg

Squat: 200 kg

Deadlift: 210 kg

For me, around 200 kgs and my lower back starts to complain! I always wonder whether it is safe to go for my lower body maxes…

BTW I train raw. No belt.

I didn’t start seriously lifting until I was already late 30’s. I was never athletic when I was younger and stopped playing sports at a young age (broken arm w/cyst in the bone). When I discovered weight training in my mid-late 30’s, I got kinda suckered into powerlifting.

I’ve had multiple tears in my rotator cuff so making any progress in the bench has been hard and slow with lots of setbacks.

Age: 46
Weight: 200# (I compete at 198#)

Competition lifts (12/04):
SQ: 405#
BP: 215#
DL: 475#

Gym PRs (8/07):
SQ: 440#
BP: 235#
DL: NA

I generally lift more in competition than I do in the gym. All lifts, belt only.

Yep - its more than a little odd compared to others peoples’ lifts. I have been ‘upper body’ training for years and thus neglecting lower body, until six months ago. In 6 months my squat and dead have gone from literally nothing and I’m hoping to get double bodyweight on both soon.

I am hoping that my lifts kind of equal out and becme more proportionate.

Cheers.

Been Powerlifting for exactly 1 year this month and love it! That I know of and seen, I am the only Powerlifter at my gym, been wearing Chuck Talors, in the last couple of months, been seeing some fellas wear them too. I think some of them are slowly coming around to the dark side.

Chuck Taylor’s ROOL!

No doubt chuck’s rule - I use them when I have to, mostly I train barefoot, though I do get some strange looks in the gym and advice like ‘you should be wearing basketball shoes to squat’ BASKETBALL SHOES!!! with the springy soles - I think not. Chucks or barefoot.

Any advice on Denim shirt fits? Inzer

PRs: Squat 160, Bench press 130, Deadlift 220kg. Belt only.
Current 1RM: NA (resumed training last summer after several years away).
Next 1RM test: Week of 24.03.2008. Aiming for Squat 130, Bench press 120, Deadlift 170kg or better on the way to topping all previous PRs over the next year.

I’ve also rediscovered the Chucks – they make me feel like a kid again!
