'Life Is Not Fair'

I agree, life is not fair. Those who whinny bitches who complain are just too lazy or dumb to do something about it.

The irony of a union chief talking about the fairness of life is strong with me. And people why unions are so hated by most of us…

I’m screwed on this one…I don’t like vouchers or unions. Life’s not fair!

I love how the salary is corrected from $500,000 to the $300,000s…the LOW $300,000s…like that makes a difference. That’s like the condos on Michigan Ave. in Chicago being described as the low 1.2 millions…

While I don’t like vouchers or unions, this shows just how out of touch the unions are. Somehow this correction of his salary is supposed to appease people.

Exactly. I’m anti-union. I come from a union-run town, Chicago, and I hate them. They have a strangle hold on that city and they’re ruining it. For example: Echomagonline - The Pets Food Review World -

Without hesitation, I’m proud to call myself a professional union firefighter. Let’s not forget that unions gave us the middle class.

That being said, this guy is a clown, and is doing a shitty job of advocating on behalf of his brothers and sisters in the union. At $300,000…it would seem that he’s being overpaid by about $300,000. Just a dumb ass position to be taking.

LOLOLOL.

After that show aired…reading the public relation person for the Union try and put together a statement that basically says…“sorry that we told you what we really think, instead of what you wanted to hear” is truly epic comedy.

Now-a-days the unions are there only to support the union, not the worker. The airline industry is the perfect fact of that. Unions were needed when we didn’t have OSHA and other standards of work out there. Unions are no longer useful to the working class, just the union leadership. As far as everything else, YOU are the key to your own prosperity. If you don’t like it YOU have to do something about it.

There are plenty of good unions. I haven’t heard anything bad about firefighters or police or anything like that. The ones that get heavily involved in politics, the Teamsters and the National Autoworkers, etc., are the ones that tend to give a bad name because they are always portrayed as being insensitive to their members. I know several of the casino unions and hotel unions are very bad. You always hear more about the bad than the good, people love a scandal and good never provides that.
