Leverage

I read this article by Eric Cressey talking about how to cater your training to your general body type .

Two general types are discussed:

-Short torso , long limbs (typically bad at bench/squat but better with deadlifts)
-Long torso, short limbs (good bench, squat, bad deadlift)

Do you know what category you more fall into ? I know there is always a middle ground .

Can you tell simply by looking at someone what lifts they are going to be better at ?

Take a look at the video of Jennifer Thompson benching 300 that was posted a few days ago.

You’re better at the lifts you train and get better at.

this thread was not for complaining about genetics, it was to question if you understand your body type and if you have succefully used certain training techniques to improve given problem areas.
