Currently trying to get my ACE certification. It’s a boring textbook and a lot of it goes into the legalities and scopes of practice. Any personal trainers here ever have to deal with legalities like being sued and stuff like that? Just curious…
I got my certification through ACE and agree there is a lot of info that seems pretty useless at the time but it’s a good a cert. But here’s my rule… stay within your scope of practice and you’ll never have to deal with legal issues. I stay pretty rigid on staying within my states guidelines and a personal trainers scope of practice.
