Leg Workout

Hey guys I am trying to build strength in my legs, so I would appreciate some advice as to how my program for legs looks:

Light jog, some jump rope and some jumping jack with a few static stretches

Squats 5X5
Jump Squats 5x5
Singular calf raises 5x8
Toe roll lunges 5x5
Balance Lunges 5x5
Single Leg Wall sit 3 sets of a minute

I’m trying to create explosive power throughout my legs, so any tips or advice would be appreciated.


If your goal is to build strength and explosive power, I would definitely put more emphasis on posterior chain work (DL, RDL, glute ham raise, etc.). I would also ditch the lunges and wall sits.
