here is what I did today, right now quads so pumped they barely bend!!

obviously adjust poundages to your liking if you try this one

Exercise 1 - 1/2 Squat Lockouts
135, 225, 405, 495 all X 5 reps, 585 & 745 X 3 reps, 855 X 1

Exercise 2 - 20-25 rep leg extensions, 5 sets up 200 pounds or so

Exercise 3 - Glute Ham Raise, 4 sets of max reps

Exercise 4 - Leg Curls, 4 sets 8 reps with extreme squeeze on contraction

Exercise 5 - Squats, 135 X20, 225 X20

Exercise 6 - Deep Squat Iso-holds, 225 X 45 sec, 135 X 60 sec

feeling pretty "High" right now... feels good

some of you guys should give it a shot & let me know what you think, worked medium pace for the Heavy Squat Lockouts, kept er movin for everything else

Just curious, what is the purpose of Exercise 6 and how far down are you squatting and holding on those?

the purpose is to force a maximum effort in a relatively weak joint position - very difficult, as for depth just a few degrees above parallel, as one starts to fatique it becomes extremely intense
