I have read alot about how the leg press is bad for the spine. I was wondering a few things.

Is there a best angle to leg press (vertical, horizontal, 45 deg, etc.) that is safer for the lower back than others. ?

Is there a “safest” range of motion to use to spare potential lower back issues? I’m referring to how close the knees come to the chest.

How do you rate the leg press vs. the sissy squat device in reference to building quad strength and muscle?
