I know that the leg press is seen as predominantly a quad movement but is there any way ( via different foot positioning etc ) to make it more of a hamstring exercise?
Well, it will always use the quadriceps to a fair extent, but with yuor feet higher on the plate, it can be used as a hamstring movement. CT’s how to design a damn good program mentions this.
if you put your legs high up on the leg press
high and wide. Toes off the top corners of the plate. I find i can actually press more with this placement too
