Leg Curl Alternative


When doing lying leg curls or standing machine curls my knee pops, its not painful but not natural. I do straight leg deadlifts but am wondering if there is another alternative I can throw in for some variety.



Glute Ham Raises? If your gym doesn't have the proper equipment search on how to utilize a lat pulldown machine for them.


Good mornings would be great, to work the hamstrings a bit more keep your legs stiff like during stiff legged deadlifts. Like the stiff legged deadlift it also works the entire posterior chain really well. Glute ham raises like mention are great too, another alternative to using the lat pulldown machine for them is to do them naturally using a partner holding your ankles or lock your feet under something solid.
