I was wondering if an experienced T-man can give me some advice. Is it ill-advised to continue dieting while on a one or two week layoff. Usually you’d need to lift to maintain muscle while dieting, but for a week or two, I was wondering if anyone has had any positive or negative experiences. Many people actually report muscle gain during a short layoff from the additional rest, so I was curious as to any advice anyone has to offer. I’m due for a break but want to keep the fat-loss going. Keep your protein high (to allow for growth, if your body so chooses), but reduce carbs, as you are not using as many, and extra will likely end up stored as fat.
