Layers in Caloric Deficit

CT,
What do you currently recommend as the best layer choices for training in a caloric deficit? I was thinking about the following to chose 2 from (with ramp to 1,2 or 3 RM always done as the first layer):

CLUSTERS

LOADED CARRIES

COMPLEXES

DENSITY WORK

The only combo out of these that I imagine wouldn't be very good would be ramp+complexes+density due to a lot of overlap between complexes and density work. In a sense complexes could be regarded as a type of density work, at least in some cases, correct?
