Lat/Serratus Strain

Since my first PL’ing meet in Nov. I’ve been dealing with lat/serratus issues on my left side (non-dominant side). ART & massage are helping a lot! My assistance work (especially for back & triceps/shoulders) is coming along slowly as I feel things out. I haven’t done an ME bench day since the meet. I start a 12 wk cycle soon for my June meet and wonder if there’s anything in the bench form that I should really focus on or does it just come down to bringing up weaknesses? Should I emphasize pulling over pressing?

I often try to put a lot of pulling in, but if you’re competing it won’t kill you to work more press than pull, but never neglect you pulling.

You could try pull overs for your pain.
