Labs Indicate Liver Damage?

@bgaither4: Were you able to get a diagnosis? What did you find to be the cause of the .04 BILIRUBIN, DIRECT?

Are you eating more than 1g protien per lb body weight? If so, that may be your problem. There’s really only so much protien your liver and kidneys can handle before getting damaged.

Thanks for your response. Many years ago I used a protein supplement, but never kept up with that high a amount at 210lbs.

At .86, I’m puzzled as to why there’s no urine detection.

Per ultrasound: No gallstones. Mild fatty liver.

Was wondering how any direct bilirubin enters blood at all. Apparently some (very little) indirect bilirubin is conjugated in the blood. Hence the reference range allotment.

But nothing on net really (other than possibly some inherited syndromes).
